The Inn at Brome Howard is surrounded by fields and forests on the banks of the St. Mary’s River.  This restored 1840s plantation house is gracefully furnished with period and reproduction pieces. Plan a small gathering in the restored plantation house or formal garden or decorate our on-site party tent for a larger celebration.

Note: Please do not rely on the Inn’s room availability calendar for the final word on The Inn’s availability for weddings.  We have set aside many weekends in the coming year as  potential wedding dates.  Please contact us for wedding availability.

The reconstructed State House of 1676 is a stately structure with baronial fireplaces and wonderful leaded glass windows. It is set on a broad sweep of lawn that overlooks the St. Mary’s River and the sunset. In December, the State House is decorated for Madrigal Evenings and provides a one-of-a-kind setting for office Christmas parties.

The Margaret Brent Garden & Gazebo is a turn-of-the-century memorial located near Town Center.  Its view of the river and sunset make it a favorite site for evening weddings.

The Maryland Dove dock and waterfront areas are available for receptions. The square-rigged Maryland Dove is docked in the St. Mary’s River.  Facing west and the setting sun, it is a premier spot for enjoying an end of the day repast.
